Our Aims
At Grovelands Park Pre-school, we are dedicated to providing a safe and welcoming environment for our children, providing support and guidance as they play and develop. We work in close partnership with families to provide the best possible outcomes for every child.
✔ We are members of the Pre-School Learning Alliance and are registered with Ofsted who conduct regular inspections.
✔ Every child has a right to be heard, and every child has a right to equal opportunities. We follow the United Nations Convention for the Rights of the Child (UNCRC).
✔ Safeguarding must be at the core of everything we do.
✔ We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage framework which sets the standards for learning, development and care for children from birth to five.
✔ We value our staff and their commitment and the importance of professional development.
What we offer
Opening times
We are open Monday to Friday, term time only.
Morning session: 8.30AM - 11.30AM
Lunchtime session: 11.30AM - 12.15AM
Afternoon session: 12.15PM - 3.15PM
We offer both full-time and part-time places.
Funded placements
✔ 2 year old funding
✔ 3 & 4 year old funding (Universal - 15 Hours)
✔ 3 & 4 year old funding (Extended - 30 Hours)
✔ Offering split funding with other providers
School pickups
We currently pick up from Millbrook Nursery at 11:30am and provide a drop-off for afternoon children at 12:15pm, Monday to Friday.

SEN support
At Grovelands Park Preschool, we pride ourselves on our commitment to providing exceptional care and support to all children, including those with additional needs. Our dedicated SENCo undergoes regular training to ensure that we can offer the best possible support to each child.
Depending on the child's individual needs, it may be possible for us to offer 1:1 support.
