Our Committee
Leeanne Brownlie
Chair
I joined the committee in April 2023 although I was the Admin Manager at Grovelands before that.
I have seen first-hand both as a parent and a staff member what a difference the preschool can make to each child who attends. Supporting the preschool as Chair has been a great way to have a real impact on this as well as ensuring that Grovelands continues to be a success.
Lizzy Henson
Committee Member
I joined the committee in April 2023 because my son was thriving in ways that I could not have achieved at home - joining the committee was a way to give back.
I believe in the importance of children being able to attend a preschool, and from my own experience, it has made the transition to primary school smoother and more enjoyable for both myself and my son.
Jess Bennett
Secretary
I joined the committee in March 2022 while my son was at the preschool.
Since then, he has gone on to start primary school and my daughter now attends the preschool.
It genuinely feels like we get to make a positive impact on how the preschool runs, and it's a great way to contribute to your local community.
Annie Bosley
Committee Member
I joined the committee in December 2023 because I wanted to be involved in the preschool community and support the amazing work that they do with our children.
You get a real insight into what goes on behind the scenes as well as the opportunity to have a genuine impact on your child's early years education.
Jess Musgrove
Treasurer
I joined the committee in April 2023, after my daughter started attending in January 2023.
I am passionate about supporting the preschool by helping raise funds or in any other way they may need to keep the preschool running successfully.
The staff are lovely and the children really thrive there.
Niki Collett
Committee Member
I joined the committee in March 2022 because my son enjoyed his preschool experience so much I wanted to give back to say thank you.
I enjoy working on the committee because the staff do such an amazing job helping our children enjoy their preschool experience and helping on the committee means they have more time to concentrate on the children.
